Getting Back to Digital

Hello friends! Wow, Thanksgiving has come and gone and December will be here quickly. Time is speeding by too fast. Since we last met, I have been working on several wire wrap projects and making jewelry. I have spent some time on Pinterest the last few days and got some inspiration to get back to some digital scrapbooking. Here is a simple page I created tonight. The subject is my sweet Granddaughter. Love that precious girlie :)

All the papers and elements are from Seatrout: The Simple Life that I got from GottaPixel for the April, 2015 edition of Scrap n' Art Magazine. I still really love this digi collection because of the bright colors and fun elements. I also recreated the same page, but instead of a picture, I added one of the elements.

I think this would be a cute art journal cover or even printed and framed.
I really missed creating digitally! These pages are very simple, but fun to make!

I'm making most of my Christmas gifts this year, too. I've already gotten several things made for my family. I'm also making Tree of Life pendants to sell. They are really fun to create. Are you making Christmas gifts this year? If so, I hope your loved ones love and appreciate what you create!

I'll be back soon to share some of my new creations. Until then....
Hugs and Happy Craftin'!!

Mermaid Love

Hello friends! So sorry I've been away so long! It's been a busy month at work and I haven't had a lot of creative time. I have been working on just one project that took up a big chunk of my time, but it's a Christmas gift, so I can't share it yet. But I can share another wire wrapping project! Blog world, meet Jewel the Mermaid!

She is a little different from the first one I made that I shared a few months ago. I made this one for a sweet friend that I met on the cruise that I took a couple of years ago. She LOVES mermaids!! I hope she likes this one :)

Jewel has a sweet face drawn on a piece of sea glass and she holds a banner with shells, beads, charms and a "love" sign. Her "bikini" is made from two starfish charms and beads. She has kinda messy hair, but she don't care, lol.

Her body is made of many beautiful blue, green and purple beads and her tail is twisted wire with more beads. She is a really happy mermaid :)

I have so many projects in my head for Christmas gifts this year and it's fast approaching! Where did the whole month of October go? I can't believe it's November already. Guess I better get busy!
That's all from me today. I will be back soon with more projects.
Until next time...
Hugs and Happy Craftin'!!
