Thanks.....

to Mary Anne in NJ for playing it forward! I guess I didn't have any more takers! Mary Anne, I will get those out to you asap. I am working on that other Wedding Memory Box you wanted and will finished with it very soon. I will email you and let you know the details!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Of coarse we ate too much, but with all that great food, who could blame us?!

I know I've been a really bad blogger lately. It has been one of those "life got in the way" kinda months for me so far. I have participated in 3 craft fairs so far and have 4 more to go. Mariah has been to the doctor every week or so and we finally went to a heart and lung specialist last Friday to rule out any serious life threatening problems. Turns out, she has reflux. That's what is causing her chest pains. Which kind of makes sense now because stomach problems run in both sides of the family. So she's on meds and hopefully this will help. Amber has come home from school every weekend for the last month and a half and so on Saturdays we go shopping. I hate shopping. I hate the trafic and the rude people running through the mall. I hate trying on clothes. I hate waiting on my daughters trying on clothes. When we go shopping, we also go to lunch and the last couple of times, we have gone to Olive Garden. I like the food there but apparantly so does everyone in the area because we always have to wait for a table. I hate waiting. I am a pretty patient person and it's a good thing, because I spend half my time waiting somewhere for something. I know that there will be a line at the Pearly Gates when I get there! Dakota has been pretty good lately. He's just a typical boy. He gets rambunctious at times, but sometimes it gets him in trouble. He was really glad to have a break from school. I was too. He spent the night at my brother's Thursday night and so yesterday I got to work on the Memory Box orders that I've gotten without a lot of interuption. He just can't stand it when I'm doing something without him. Usually I have to stop and play match game or color or pick a sticker. He loves stickers and thinks that everyone should where atleast one everyday. We go through stickers like crazy around here. Thank goodness for the dollar store!

On a business note, check out what Stampin' Up! is offering! This is a super great deal and I'm definitely getting the wrapping paper and ribbon! Call or email me today to get in on this deal before it's gone!

Hope ya'll have a terrific weekend and hopefully (crossing fingers) I will post something tomorrow!

Need two more!!

Ok ladies!! I need two more people for "Pay if Forward"! Big thanks to Mary Anne for hopping aboard to play! I have some really cute goodies to send, but they are a surprise so you'll have to wait to get them if you decide to play Pay it Forward! So come on, don't wait! Post a reply that you want to play, then after you get your goodies, you do the same, pay it forward to 3 people with some goodies! Mary Anne, can you email me your address and I will get your goodies sent out to you asap. Thanks again for playing!

Look what came in the mail yesterday!!!!!

This FREE stamp set from SU! AND "Pay-it-Forward" goodies from Kathy! Thanks Kathy!! Great goodies!!! There are 1/4 sheets of very pretty paper, a Santa sleigh stamp, a set of Christmas clear stamps, some paper flowers and a roll of very pretty ribbon! And what a sweet card! I can't wait to use everything! Now, it's my turn to "Pay-it-Forward"! The first three people to leave a message will get some goodies from me, as long as you agree to do the same!!! Thanks in advance for playing!
I really like this SU! stamp set. It's called Time Well Spent and I really need to mount it and get to stamping! My desk is such a wreck that I'll have to clear it off before I can do any stamping though. When I'm trying to get things made for craft fairs, I tend to just pile things up instead of putting away like I should. What a mess my area is in right now!
I have done pretty well at the craft fairs that I have done so far. I have about 4 more to go. I was so busy this past week that I was too pooped to post anything! I got orders for 6 boxes so I've got to get to working on those. I do have a couple of things to post that I had not gotten a chance to last week, so those will go up some time tomorrow. Unit then, happy stamping to ya'll!

You gotta have faith.....

another Dollar Store find. I painted this a light brown and then rubbed Lumiere over the paint. I then covered the front of each letter with a designer paper from my LSS. I also got one that says "believe" and will work on making it prettier in the next few days.
Today's craft fair was pretty good. I got some orders for some custom items and sold some things, too. I am doing another craft fair Monday and hopefully it will be good as well. I was so tired this afternoon when I got home. Who knew it was so tiring just sitting?! Monday will be really long and tiring because I will be there for almost 9 hours! I should have asked for Tuesday off to recuperate!
Thanks for stopping by today!! See ya'll again very soon!

Cute, huh?!

This is a small lunch box tin covered in dp (not sure what company). I stamped "hair bows" on whisper white with Doodle Alphabet, colored with markers and mounted on Pixie Pink cs. I covered it with Iredescent Ice EP and it's really sparkly even though you can't tell by this pic. The little chipboard flowers are from K & Company and added a small Fire & Ice brad to the center. The top of the box is painted with pink acrylic paint and sealed with Mod Podge. The ribbons on the handle are different brands. I have several craft fairs coming up and I hope (fingers crossed) that I can sell some of these. I have also altered some other little boxes that I made last year, but they did not sell. They were "kid's card kits" (got the idea from Taylored Expressions). I am changing the names on them so instead of kid's card kits, one has the pirate boy from Ahoy Matey on it and it will read "my treasure" and the other one I dismantled all together (which was not what I planned, but I ruined the paper that was on it) and I covered it with dp that I got at my LSS that has the characters from the movie CARS on it. It's really cute!!! I'll have to show them to you when I get done with them. I am still altering other items and have a couple more name frame samples to do. Why I procrastinate I will never know! I'm starting to get stressed trying to get things ready. I think that will be my New Year's resolution, stop procrastinating!!!

Here's the other frame

from the Dollar Store that I covered with designer paper. This paper is called "Tan Eye Oval & Swirls Frothed" from K & Company. It has raised areas and is very pretty IRL. The flowers are also from K & Company. I really like how it turned out, too. I kinda wish I would have bought more of these frames. I have one more to alter and will share that when it's done. I also have a little tin lunch box that I altered and will share that with ya'll tomorrow. Now I'm off to work on that other frame! Thanks for stopping by and I'll see ya'll later!!

Shabby Chic Frame

I found this frame at the Dollar Store and it was really ugly! That is before I covered it with this gorgeous paper from K & Company!! It's called "Teal Floral & Newsprint". After I covered the frame, I swiped a Creamy Caramel ink pad over the edges. The ribbon is SU! organdy and was white, but I colored it with Creamy Caramel re-inker and heated to age it a bit. I really like how it turned out!

I covered another frame and have one more to cover also. I will share those with you tomorrow!! Thanks for stopping by today!

While I work on some stuff to show you.......

Grace and Peace!
