Pretty little candles

These are the little votive candles that I made for our MOMS group project. We are a networking group of Mom Entreprenuers and get together twice a month and share ideas. (link to our group is on the side bar labeled MOMS - Mothers Offering Magnificent Service - check us out!!) We are offering a basket full of our products to local realtors and mortgage companies to purchase for their new clients moving into our area and state. These candles are what I put in the basket. Tonya (our feerless leader!) makes the most AWESOME gift baskets! and she is the one who actually puts everything together for our group. She is so talented and her baskets are very reasonably priced. She personally shops and hand picks everything for the baskets so they are truly "custom" gift baskets. No two are alike. For the candles, I used the scented Martha Stewart votive candles from K-Mart. They are "fresh linen" and smell so good. I stamped the flower images on tissue paper using black Stazon, then colored in with SU! pencils, cut out and wrapped with wax paper and heated until the wax melted the tissue paper into the candle. These small candles are a little more difficult to do than the bigger ones, because if you're not careful, you will burn your fingers!

Well, ladies, I've got some blog candy ready to share with ya'll! I will post that tonight! Until then, Happy Stampin'!!!!
